Lovely website Francois, very explicit quad stuff, I DO like your tower, am envious of you for it; I am doing the design work to make my own crank-up tower so I can raise the quad up to at least a wavelength, but able to bring it down and tilted over for quick dis-assembly in case of hurricane.
For me to buy a readymade tower would be prohibitively expensive here, but I've been in the mechanical engineering business for most of my life.
Now I know why you came to check me out, My quad, haha.I am constantly upgrading and trying new things with my re-builds, the current one is a 6, but on a short boom, only 23', and I am going to take it down soon and extend the boom to 28', tweak the element lengths a bit to increase the bandwidth, forward gain and f/b rejection.
At the moment my bandwidth is 26800-27800 with swr below 1.5:1, but I want to bring it a bit flatter and widen the bandwidth.

Je vois que ça avance bien,j'ai commandé également une Quad 8 éléments chez F5OLS (Radio 33)mais celle-ci c'est pour le 2 metres (VHF).C'est un produit de qualité et la notice de montage est bien expliquée.
Pour les QSLs bravo elles sont belle.
J'ai conçues les miennes aussi (si tu veux les voir tu peux envoyer un mail sur mon adresse).J'aurai des autres questions à te poser car je cherche un imprimeur dans le coin.
